EXCEL's 2007 Program Theme

EXCEL's 2007 Program Theme will focus on the Theme of Generating Corporate Sustainability Value. This builds on the concept of the Next Decade Vision for Canadian Corporate Sustainability espoused by some EXCEL CEOs recently, and stresses the integration of sustainability in business operations to deliver value results.

2007 Program: Generating Corporate Sustainability Value

1. EXCEL CEO Forum on Sustainability Series
   
   
Theme: Driving Sustainability Value Creation in Companies

Detail: Following up on the successful Toronto Sustainable CEO forum in 2006, create a second event in Calgary, with the intention of making this an annual EXCEL program item. A Roundtable will take place the following day.

Timing: Fall, 2007


2. EXCEL and Parliament: Engaging Canada's Political and Bureaucratic Leadership
   
   
Theme: EXCEL members meeting with Minister/s and with DMs and ADMs from Environment, Industry, Finance, Natural Resources, and Transport and the Opposition Parties.

Location: Ottawa
Timing: Spring, 2007
